Florence Fu 傅曦瑶 is a writer and type designer from New York, currently based in Taipei. She holds a B.A. in art history and a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University, and is a graduate of Type West’s yearlong type design certificate program.

Currently, she is a contributor to Sharp Type and Letterform Archive. Her writing has been featured in AIGA Eye on Design and Communication Arts. Her research interests revolve around the impact of modernism, colonialism, imperialism, and globalization on graphic design, typography, and visual culture in East Asia in 20th and 21st centuries.
